Pembina Valley Uniforms was established in November 2008 as a retail store located in Winkler MB. We are a Canadian company and family owned and operated. The owners, Marilyn and Dean, have previous experience in running a successful business, both in retail and online. They currently own other businesses, also medical-related. Many of our family and friends are in the medical profession, so we understand the need for comfortable and durable uniforms.

Much research was done into starting up PVU. In the Pembina Valley region alone, over 5000 employees wear medical uniforms, not to mention the rest of Manitoba and across Canada. Dean and Marilyn decided to provide a retail store for those in the area, and to also offer the stylish, comfortable and durable uniforms to those outside the region and accros Canada. The PVU store has been open since November 2008 and has been very well received from all the healthcare professions. After much research into brands of uniforms, the decision was made to sell the Cherokee line because of the fabric, feel, design and durability of their uniforms. Our customers who have made the switch to Cherokee are pleased with their choice. They come back and tell us, time and time again, how great Cherokee items feel, how comfortable they are to wear, and of course, how stylish the designs are. They don't feel like they are wearing scrubs to work.
